You can pursue a master's degree
program online. To earn this graduate degree, you will typically be required to complete
one to two years of full time study. In earning a master's degree, you will gain
specialized knowledge in a particular field. You need to complete a bachelor's degree
before colleges will accept you as a master's degree student. Coursework typically
involves some combination of classes, research, and, often, a thesis project. Some
companies require the you have a master's degree to be considered for specialized
positions.
There are two main kinds of master's degree. If you get an MA (Master of Arts) degree,
that means you have completed an advanced course of study, generally in the liberal
arts.
If you get an MS (Master of Science) degree, that means you have completed an advanced
course of study in engineering or the physical or life sciences. |
